The Science of drinking

Ingredients
Gather up the following listed ingredients.
Whisky
Typically a Whisky Sour is an American Cocktail known for its strong bite and sweet after taste. Therefore, a brand of Bourbon is considered best for this type of drink. Any type of bourbon is beneficial but its suggested that using an affordable Whisky is just as good as the other ingredient tastes are very present on the pallet. Try an Irish Blend for a subtler whisky presence in the drink.
Sugar syrup
One cup of water to one cup of casting sugar or Demerara on a slow boil will make 500 ml of, when cooled, a sugar syrup that is perfect blending for drinks and baking.
Egg white or Chick Pea Water
Normally the white of a single egg is used for each drink although recent discoveries on the use of Aquifer ( water from a chick pea can ) has the exact same protein qualities of the egg and eliminates the sulfurous scent that can sometimes present in a sour.
Ice
Use Mineral water to make ice and for added spice drop some cinnamon to water before it freezes. Makes for a warmer taste.
Lime Juice
Juice 3 limes for each drink. It seems excessive but the sourness will carry through the foam of the Aquifer and the syrup will sweeten it.
Zest
For panache and extra sour bite to the sip, grate a little zest as garnish.
Home Bound Method
Add all these ingredients to a large lidded and sterilized jar. A jam jar looks nice and gives a prohibition style to the presentation. Shake ruinously for 1 minute and add a straw. Hey Presto… your own Homemade Whisky Sour.
