I’d rather first start by announcing which side I’m on, I happen to be a strong proponent of the search of the magical button for resolving everything. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy. You can be firmly convinced that you’re healthy from head to toe, and with just one glance to some spots around your eyes, the doctor tells you that you have high cholesterol. We gradually notice that our health may not be in tip-top shape as we age, but that shouldn’t be a reason to panic. Once you start being conscious about your health, how food and exercise affect you, the hardest part is over. If you’re eating habits are fine, ask yourself, am I exercising right? You needn’t worry about what you’re supposed to do, we’ll be giving you a brief guide on how to know if you’re healthy from head to toe.

Sleep Quality

Chronic insomnia is a disorder that affects a significant portion of people. If you happen to have difficulty sleeping or staying asleep, you should probably consider being a victim of chronic insomnia. Research shows that moderately intense aerobic exercise, especially walking, helps by reducing the pre-sleep time wasted on trying to go to sleep, in addition to increasing the duration of sleep for those who exercised on that night.

Energy and Fatigue

If you’re constantly tired all the time and feel like you have no energy to do anything, you’re probably suffering from general fatigue. It may seem counterintuitive to exercise when you’re fatigued, but studies pointed out that low-intensity exercise can be used to fight fatigue. Low-intensity is preferred over moderate-intensity exercises, it could reach a 65% drop of fatigue levels. 

Immune System

If you feel that you catch a cold whenever it’s possible, then your immune system may not be at tip-top shape. The good news is that the immune system can be boosted easily, 20 minutes of low to moderate-intensity, whether it’s walking or jogging, are more than enough to reduce the abundance of cells that may cause inflammation or make you susceptible to diseases. Poor Circulation

Blood circulation means the process in a body where the heart pumps blood to reach every part of the body. This process is of extreme importance, if you happen to have some symptoms of poor blood circulation like constantly cold hands and feet, digestive issues, or muscle cramps then it’s possible that you have poor circulation. Yoga is a great exercise that can be easily customized to help ensure that the circulation of blood in the body is optimum. Maintaining a healthy weight is also very important as obesity can drastically affect the quality of blood circulation.

Being healthy is something we take for granted until we start feeling unwell. You should always take advantage that when you’re healthy you’re already able to patiently resolve problems before they happen. As mentioned before, there is no magical button or pill that can fix everything, always be wary of what you eat and how you exercise.
