A healthy mind in a healthy body is a quote from one of the satires of the Roman poet Juvenalis. He meant to say that the people of his time had to request their gods of blessing them with good health. We still think this is important, so it is probably an eternal truth. It is certainly a fact that if you feel healthy and feel better in your skin, your productivity gets increases. It is therefore a good thing to consider your health critically. For example, you can start by wondering what kind of person you are. Are you into practising a lot of sports and do you like to move or perhaps you are the kind of person that finds it more pleasant to take things the easy way?

Improve your home workplace environment

Working at home is one of the things that have changed within the last few years. Where maybe formerly you used to go to a furnished office, you now have to install a workplace for yourself to create your own working place. In addition, you also have to keep yourself in mind what that exactly means to you. For example, you can place an extra plant to take care of your own atmosphere, or you can just get started without changing anything.

It is a fact that you, regardless of your type, must move around to preserve good health. This can be done in a sporty way when you choose to do that, but of course, that is not obligatory. You can take a nice walk in the great outdoors, it is also a very healthy way of moving and has the advantage that you don’t get any unforeseen injury, not easy that is.

The most important factor: Health

If you take the definition of the World Health Organization, then health is a state of full, physical and social welfare and not just the absence of illness or other physical defects. In that, you can feel just as healthy with taking daily walks like someone who regularly runs a marathon.

Something that is not to be taken granted for because it helps to avoid bodily complications while working at home, is the use of height adjustable desks that ensure that you never have to be confronted with work relating injuries again. The contraction of repetitive strain injury is totally prevented if you install the desk the right way.

Relations to work

The more fun you experience while you are working, the higher will be your productivity. With small adjustments, you can come a long way. For example, have you ever taken into consideration that with the help of just a few freestanding screens? We are all different, as we all have different likings, though health concerns us all. Health and feeling good are two factors that complement each other. Through that, they increase not just the way you feel, but the way your body feels as well.
