Calisthenics are an entire category of workout which use just your body weight, and they can be intense, and build some serious muscle. Instead of being sidelined because you can’t go to the gym, look up some effective workouts you can do from home, and get sweating.

  • Sweat every day

On that note, whatever activity you choose to do, make sure you do it every day. Even if you’re hard at work, or busy around the home, making time to sweat every day should be a step you don’t skip. It’ll boost your mood, and keep your fitness in check, even if you can’t get to the gym.

  • Keep your diet under control

When you’re hitting the gym regularly, you may have some more wiggle room when it comes to what you eat. And it makes sense: if you’re looking for more energy to workout, you’ll be eating more.
