In my experience as a pet owner it is not always easy to find the perfect vet to take your pets to and that is a big issue. For many years I wanted to find a vet which find our needs and thanks to the brilliant team at the All Creatures Veterinary Center, that is exactly what I have been able to find. There is so much that goes into finding a great vet and there is a great deal which you should expect from that vet. Capable
I appreciate that if your pet has a grave problem then they may very well need to go to an animal hospital, but my expectation from a vet is that they are able to carry out a large number of procedures in the center so that we don’t have to take the pet all over the place and also so that my dog, or whatever pet you have, feels comfortable in a location which they are used to going to, in order that they stay calm.
Specialists
I know that vets can deal with just about any animal but I really like the idea of there being certain specialists, either in relation to particular animals or in relation to certain areas of the body. This is something which the AV center really does have and it gives me great confidence that whatever is wrong with the dog, they are going to be the best people to try and get to the bottom of it.
Love Animals
I can tell you that whilst vets are great at looking after animals, not all vets love animals, this sounds strange of course but then I guess not all doctors love humans. Anyway the point is that I want a vet who has a genuine fondness for animals, who will give them the best care possible and who will make the pet feel at home. Dogs and cats hate going to the vet and that is why it is essential that we are able to give them the best possible care, with a vet who has a real love of animals.
Prices
Another reason why I really like the team at AV is that their prices are so reasonable and they are on par or cheaper than so many of their competitors. I have seen some vets who’s prices are just ridiculous and to be honest, a vet like AV could certainly charge those prices because of the service that they give. Thankfully they do not charge those prices yet still ensure that they are able to give great service.
