Randy Benderson is a case study in how passion and an impressive work ethic can drive a business’s success. Benderson Development has been in existence for over 60 years. Randy Benderson, who currently serves as president, continues to do his work in the name of his late father, Nathan Benderson.
Randy continues to drive the family legacy, supporting various causes — especially those focusing on Jewish-related charities that alleviate poverty, provide support to the elderly, rescue animals, and feed hungry children.
Humble Beginnings Despite Dad Running the Business
Randy earned his skill set starting from a lower rung, serving as Marketing Manager/Lease Representative for over 4 years (1978-1983) at Benderson Development Company, Inc.
From there, he worked his way up to Vice President of Development/Leasing, then to Senior Vice President (1988-1992), culminating in his current position as Director since March of 1992. He continues to lead over 8,000 team members, inspiring them to work with passion and skill that will drive Benderson Development’s success.
Like his father (Nathan Benderson), Randy believes that he should use his unique position and opportunity to give back to various communities in which he builds and develops. A part of that is raising awareness about the eye-opening realities of child hunger and its prevalence worldwide, which he addresses though organizations like All Faiths Food Bank and the Food Bank of WNY.
With Randy at the helm, keeping the same values and philosophical tenets that his father used to grow Benderson Development, the future looks bright for the communities that he builds in and gives back to through the family business.
