Jenny Wade was a seamstress who lived in the Civil War. She had soon moved in with her sister, who was a new mother, not only to get away from battle but to help her sister with her newborn, as well. In July of 1863, a stray bullet came through the house, hitting Jenny Wade and later killing her. At first, she was buried at home, but her grave was soon moved two more times. 2. Farnsworth House
